Representing diverse community organizations, the Community Network provides crucial insights into intersecting needs beyond housing, including social services, healthcare, and economic factors.
Much of what we learn about the needs of families and individuals comes from services providers, working on the front lines with access to clients. They identify ongoing issues that need to be addressed such as food security, poverty, racism and other issues.
The Network meets once a month to discuss emerging issues in the community that impact housing. They strategize about collective action and coordinate services to improve access to housing as well as wrap-around services.

The Guysborough County Adult Learning Association is a volunteer organization committed to providing free adult education opportunities throughout Guysborough County by promoting life long learning, identifying individual learner needs, and improving accessibility in cooperation with all other related organizations. We do technology training, essentials skills training, and upgrading.
Provision of all Home Care, Community Nursing Care, Senior’s Programing, and Long Term Care Placement
